Broken beauty
As I wrote this chapter, my mind felt clouded and overwhelmed. I resorted to watching gory anime and researching various topics, such as plants, ants, moose, and crocodiles, to spark inspiration. Despite the stress, I managed to write a passable chapter. *Wipes brow*. Recently, I came across a reality check sentence in a Discord group from a fellow author. She spoke about how difficult it is for those who have studied physics, and math, and mastered English to enjoy a sci-fi novel or movie when the science is incorrect. As an adult, I can relate to this sentiment, looking back on shows I loved as a child and cringing at my past ignorance. However, it’s important to remember that fantasy fiction is just that – fiction. While it’s okay to point out mistakes, we shouldn’t bash authors as it can be detrimental to their motivation to continue. (I’m one of those authors who love praises). Negatives are a natural part of life, but let’s focus on the positive and get back to the point.
This chapter is dedicated to characters who unfortunately had to meet their end. It’s a bit of a gory volume, I must say. While it may not be as intense as the upcoming sea arc, it’s definitely up there. The next eight or so chapters promise to be quite interesting. There was even a character who met their demise by being eaten by moose.
Qia this character. She used to be an arrogant girl who was pampered and brainwashed to believe that her only purpose was to be served. Although this was her reality, everything changed when Wu Jie came into her life. If only she had stayed in her lane, her life would have been perfect.
Actually, she wouldn’t have gone through so much pain if she hadn’t crossed paths with the daughter of Lady Darkness and her companions. Nevertheless, here is the latest chapter titled “Broken Beauty.”
